The Road That Leads to Home
Some travel many roads and find
adventures serve to fill their quest
for change. This thought they’ve left behind:
The road that leads to home is best.
From the familiar, some have turned
to seek a chance to be the guest
in foreign settings. This, they’ve spurned:
The road that leads to home is best.
In fantasy, while trapped in Oz,
young Dorothy was scared and stressed.
She deeply yearned for all that was.
The road that leads to home is best.
Some travel many roads and find
the road that leads to home is best.
