The River Flows South
The river waters flow
Like the blood runs through my veins
Wherever they may go
They carry my joys and pains
And when the waters rise
From a torrential rain
Like the teardrops in my eyes
It leaves a lasting stain
And with my heart in tow
Heading south to the sea
Where the river waters flow
The current carries me
