Oh such a caper.' For paper chaste.. On which To scrawl..to etch our trace.' To postulate to Dream or preen? record a snippet or a ballade A song? The wind that talks to the air we breathe, belies our endeavour our the-isise. Its all impossible ' yet we're drawn to its flame ! Burning our oil, we're on the paper chase again.)

Exactly! So many times I have come up with some beautiful lines of poetry while out walking my dog. Only to have them "dissolve to vapor" by the time I sit down at the computer! I think all of us poets will recognize the frustration in your little verse. Well done!

I've had that same experience, so hard to keep them in your head until you can get back home, thanks for your comment, Katharine~

Truth! You do need to write down the ideas that come to mind before they disappear.

Love this Michelle . Yes how poignant and true . The whisper of dreams, inspiration and brilliance can disappear in seconds if we don’t capture its beauty in words . Blessings, Susan :)

There are moments when we are greatly inspired. With pen and paper turn those moments to beautiful writing. If we wait, perhaps those inspired thoughts may vanish. Great cautioning, Michelle.
