The Majestic Goose

A most majestic fowl is the goose! 'Tis a thing of beauty in flight, As it wings in V-formation so tight! But, alas, its bowels are awfully loose!

Thanks, Gershon! Being compared to Ogden Nash, one of my favorite poets is an honor, indeed! I have nearly all of his witty writes in my library. Best always, mine friend - Bob

G’day Bob … we only have one variety; Cape Barren Goose and they mainly live on a few islands, but I have read about Canada geese. You wouldn’t have to fertilize your garden - thanks Bob - Lindsay

Yep, they sure are a messy breed; But they keep the lawn green, yes indeed! Thanks unto you, Lindsay. Bob

Oooh, we don't see geese here and I didn't know their bowels were so loose. Pelicans and seagulls are the same way. Very funny, Bob! Hugs, Carolyn

Thanks, Car olyn. Loosie Goosie is an apt name for them! They fly in droves over my house and I assume they are headed your way to warmer climes altho flocks of them winter here. Take great care - Bob

Thank you, Anne-Lise. I like to see them flying in formation but they are sure a messy lot. Its interesting that tons of them stay here in Col Springs instead of flying further south for warmer climes! Best to you - Bob
