The Fear

The Fear I fear the loss of love so much It makes me tremble from within My heart drops cold and heavy Inner strength a shallow thing When she walks dreaming out of my life, Taking the colors of my world as she goes, What a good woman she is; I should not consider the possibility. Still, how dear, how like the sun ... And so I dread to be alone with my fear.
