The Darkness
Deep within the darkness,
Somewhere inside of me,
Spirits made of stardust
Not ever to be free.
Voices less emotion,
Bodies without form,
Echos from a slumber,
Never to be born.
Hidden in the emptiness
Left squandered by a sigh,
Then buried in the memories
Of twisted days gone by.
Softly, silence seals the lips
Of hunger's sad reprise...
To leave a calm tomorrow
Filled with wisdom's noble lies.
