The Cross

How can it be that He who knew no sin Should suffer searing pain upon the cross And crowned with mocking thorns which pierced his skin Exchange love’s purity for mankind’s dross? Why did deep darkness cloak the trembling land As, crucified He gasped His final breath? And was it cruel fate or ever planned That thus the Prince of peace should meet His death? No accident, but God’s amazing grace Allowed this act of sacrificial pain. For Jesus bore God’s judgement in our place That everlasting life might be our gain. The cross is where the wounds of sin were healed And through Christ’s anguish man's salvation sealed. Date Written : 27.02.19 The cross N/A A Meaningful Poem - Constance La France 4/24/2021

This is totally opposite to my Muslim faith. He was not crucified or paid anybody sin.

Hello, Sherif I believe in the Christ of the Bible who said that He alone is 'The way, the truth and the life' and is the only one who can forgive our sins through the cleansing blood of his death on the cross. Yes, our faiths will always clash I'm afraid.

We believe as Christians that He died for us, as He said He would and as it was prophesied by King David and others. He is the "stumbling stone" set down in Jerusalem that would cause many to stumble. Reconsider who He was and who He is and I promise you, you will be blessed forever!
