The Courtship of Lacey and Jakey

Written by Gail DeBole on August 16, 2017 Lacey the turtle fell flat on her back. She landed squarely. Her shell did not crack. Jakey the turtle became her green knight. With his gentle nudge She again was upright. After that, Jakey would not leave her side Making sure Lacey stayed upright. She became Jakey’s bride.
