What would a Thanksgiving Holiday be without a Hymn of praise and gratitude for family, friends, food, celebration, and hope!
-----------
Verse 1:
In the heart of Thanksgiving's traditions, beneath God's vast, crystal blue,
Families gather 'round His table, a quilt of memories old and new.
The harvest moon, a canvas painted, the earth adorned in yellow and gold,
We celebrate togetherness, in His love, our spirits unfold.
Chorus:
Oh, let our hearts be thankful, let our spirits soar,
In the abundance of His blessings, we find ourselves once more.
For the depths of His love, we are forevermore,
With every leaf that's falling, with every star He aligns,
We see the beauty of His world, in these sacred times.
Verse 2:
The aroma of pies, sweet nostalgia, dancing through the air,
Warmth from His love and friendship, in our family, we share.
Cornucopias brimming, a mother's gifts, a banquet of delight.
A hearth's tender glow, a loving family reunites, an eternal rite.
Chorus:
Oh, let our hearts be thankful, let our spirits soar,
In the abundance of His blessings, we find ourselves once more.
In the depths of His love, we are forevermore,
With every leaf that's falling, with every star He aligns,
We see the beauty of His world, in these sacred times.
Bridge:
In the quietude of a twilight's cloak, as the day gently fades,
We gather in hushed reverence, beneath the stars' serenades.
With hearts turned to our heavenly Father, we reflect on His grace,
In the warmth of our family circle, we find our sacred space.
Chorus:
Oh, let our hearts be thankful, let our spirits soar,
In the abundance of His blessings, we find ourselves once more.
In the depths of His love, we are forevermore,
With every leaf that's falling, with every star He aligns,
We see the beauty of His world, in these sacred times.
Outro:
As the day draws to its close, and the stars begin to gleam,
We hold onto His promise, like a soft silk cashmere dream.
With the melody of gratitude, that in our hearts does play,
We give prayerful thanks for His love and hope on Thanksgiving day.
