Sunflower

I whisper to myself someday there will be a day when it will all make sense when readers will decipher the codes of the poet’s prose leading to the system of her speculation when all is revealed someday things are going to change things are going to be different but for the better someday I would not be afraid for what is to come my path I won’t see fear in his eyes no more no more in mine never looking away someday I will have the strength to venture on with no regrets no looking back to let go someday I will have the courage to speak my truth once more own my story to be the black sheep I know I have always been someday all my patience and waiting for will pay for the result someday all will be in bloom my hopes, my dreams, my wishes standing tall, wide open with its luscious petals with pride and courage someday it’s gonna be all okay is what I keep saying to myself as I drink the night away to cry myself to sleep to dream of my fears and horrors someday it’s going to all disappear someday, I whisper only someday
