Summer Days
Summer days so bright and beautiful,
Lift our spirits and make us feel freer
We are happier, clearly indisputable.
Even the birds find summer suitable
For frolicking, and simply being here,
Summer days so bright and beautiful.
I am convinced warmth is immutable
With summer comes a change of gear,
We are happier, clearly indisputable.
Such an argument, I think irrefutable
I shall not expect ski-lovers to hear,
Summer days so bright and beautiful.
In colder climes, true, living is doable
When the warm glow of sun is near,
We are happier, clearly indisputable.
This is a matter that I find inscrutable
My argument is made with good cheer
Summer days so bright and beautiful
We are happier, clearly indisputable.
