Strange Land

Open clouds black and grey circle this strange majestic sky. Oak tree's whistle, birds flee. A riverbank is broken rapids gushing loud and free. Farmer rejoices. Rain drops envelop this arid land. Sheep hustle, rooster grows. Droughts over, seven years forgotten. Days repeat this welcome storm, heavens present for the harsher days gone by. Sun rises. Tree's settle, birds chant a thankful song. Land awakens ready to grow his needed corn. Farmer smiles, his dream lives on to see another day.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
