Stardust In Dreams

Stardust dreams of you in my teens remain sacred in hours spent wishing you would be mine to cherish, to kiss, to love. It was not to be but your handsome face still lingers in my thoughts, in church choir songs where you gently reached out to touch my long auburn hair. 6-14-20 ~Third Place~ STARDUST Poetry Contest Sponsored by: nette onclaud

I see this one I had not even congratulated let alone commented to yet. My goodness. What is wrong with me. Did not even know dear Matt had passed away several months ago. Time is flying faster than superman these days. This was just gorgeous, Connie, and thanks so much for leaving all those recent comments for me on my poetry.

Yes it did. I was so shy I am sure I blushed when I felt him touch my hair. I was thrilled. Had we not moved away maybe I might have had a slim chance with him. I will never know. Thank Arturo. xxoo

Teen love and memories will never be forgotten - I was sixteen years old and the boy next door serenaded me every morning in our front garden. They were going back to Scotland and told his parents that if couldn't marry me now he would stay behind his parents came over to chat to my parents, and he only sixteen also. They talked some sense into him and he left - I was heartbroken. Thought I would share this with you. Absolutely delightful poem, Good luck. blessings dear Connie Jennifer.

I believe love can happen to anyone of any age and some marry in their teens and it lasts a lifetime. Sorry you had to go through that Jennifer. Thank you very much. xxoo

He was breathtakingly handsome, but acted humble and not conceited Paul. Unforgettable! He had a girlfriend, but at least he noticed my hair. Thank you so much for honoring this poem with a Fave Paul. I appreciate it very much. Blessings xxoo
