SPRING

SPRING The snow on my deck is finally melting away The bright sunshine finally showed up today It's been a long cold winter for the birds to rest The big mother robin bird is searching to build its nest The squirrels come out to gather their food supplies It's fun just sitting back and see what they could find With spring we can see the opening of the new flower buds And the start of all the green shrubs Pretty soon the ice will melt and the river will flow You will finally see the boats and fishermen start to show Some days and nights there will still be a chill in the air With the start of spring, memories of the big Winter storm is still there We all can't wait for summer in a few months So we can start seeing the floating ducks And stop by our favorite ice cream truck Springtime is when everything comes alive And all the plants and wildlife start to arrive
