Soul Travel To travel amidst the evening stars Forever mesmerized by their light... As visions enter my sleepy head I marvel my interstellar flight. The universe is mine to explore In ethereal bands without Time; Without earth's constraints of gravity My expansion has become sublime. I view with a great epiphany How extremely minuscule we are In the grandeur of our galaxy When measured by a projective star. My body awaits in restful pose As I return with the speed of thought Entering in my physical self So grateful for answers I have sought. 1-13-21 rev. Musings on Space contest Sponsor Unseeking Seeker 7th Place Premier Contest ....................................... Erin Huelskamp Composer/Flutist/Director is composing music to go with my poem. It will be sung by a choir in the southern US in the spring. 1-16-17 *Soul Travel: Soul Travel transcends astral or mind travel, and rote prayer, elevating one into profound spiritual areas. Whenever Soul reaches the far orbits of the inner planes through Soul Travel, the human heart opens to God's all-consuming love. —Harold Klemp,

Wonderful job, Connie. I did not even dare enter this one. I know so little about space but you did it most poetically.

I want to sincerely thank you Carol for all your replies on my poetry. I appreciate it very much. I looked at some of your lovely poetry that was paired with art and music and it is so beautiful. I will comment on more as soon as I get the time. I am on a bit of an overload right now but I do want to take time to read poetry. Thank you, blessings, Connie

A most mystical, metaphysical poem, Connie. Your words took me to an elevated plane of consciousness. A stellar spiritual write. Grand streams of existentialism pouring from your pen. Very cerebral and thought provoking poem. Love and hugs.

Dear Connie, I was mesmerized by your intergalactic journey. I have had a couple out-of-body experiences, but they never took me to the stars. The amazing images you describe are sometimes in my dreams. Wishing you success in the contest!

I find this topic so fascinating, Connie, and this is a truly awesome way to treat the subject of Travel Light. I guess I only do mine in dreams because I can't imagine being lucky enough to do astral travel. You captured it so well.

Your 3rd stanza is so right on! Wonder what Monet would have made of your photographs, being so about light as he was? This is great, Connie. Love, daver
