Soul

We are a group of seniors above 80 years of age. Recently, many of us departed because of old age problems. Here are some of the excerpts from Bhqagwat Gita, Lord Krishna's sermon on mortality. "The soul is neither born nor does it die; Having come into being once, it never ceases to be, It is unborn, eternal, permanent and primeval". "As a man discarding worn-out clothes takes other new ones; likewise the embodied soul, Casting off worn-out bodies, enters into others, Which are new".

Powerful and calming. Thank you, Jay, for sharing Krishna's sermon on mortality! Through sharing you've given me a different kind of hope and encouragement...a different perspective especially 'the soul is unborn, eternal, permanent, and primeval.' Wow! Have a great evening, Sara
