Sonnet Chiweenie Boo

Your dad, a Dachshund once stuck in Chihuahua. The best of both in you, with that expectant Confusing carpets for the lawn enigma. I know….the raining….getting wet….you can’t. As coldness chills the room, a sheet for you. The perfect tucking of in, but you moved! I ponder, just how crazy is my Boo? The sheet’s thread count too low to be approved? Your dance in circles, spinning on the floor. Rewards and treasures known upon the racks. Induced by meals and that one pantry door. In such a fury, choking on the snacks. I know what God’s book says, I’ve searched it whole. But still, I hope you have a little soul. 11.14.14

Let me first salute your wisdom in owning a Chihuahua and of the course the name. Still trying to figure out the sheet phenomenon. Thank you for taking the time to read and comment.

Thank you Andrea. I guess he just doesn't like our styles (or us), at least we got HMs, I cant remember how many entries he was taking, thought it was 35, but it may have been 50. So there was some NA's too.

At least you got on the list Rob - I got an N/A - guess humour is subjective but I'm hanging up my pen in shame not to place in a humour contest:-) Hugs jan xx

Sorry to hear that Jan. I am not going to try to find yours in case you would like to enter it into Screwed III. I was close to a NA though, perhaps he is a dog lover, thus barely saving me. Hugs, Rob.

Thanks, Andrea. I never knew the term Chiweenie, until I took the Boo to a community festival and everyone was calling him that.

very cool write one of the best of twilight zones episodes I saw was about an old man who wouldn't go into heaven without his dog but it turns out it was the devil trying to get him into hell and him not going without his dog saved him.
