Somnombulance Rising

The water rolls back against the wind, Against the wind, And the sea breeze is salty Against the lips. (The image came as a dream, While half asleep, And is lost in part Upon awakening.) “Give me back the other part, The best part.” But it is lost to the sea, Washed away against the wind. The dark part is lost in a universe Of dark, so foreboding. It is mostly space out there, And we are lost souls below. The water rolls back against the wind. The image came as a dream. “Give me back the best part” – The dark part lost to the void. The sea wind blows against the lips; It is lost in part upon arising, Washed away upon the wind. And we are lost souls below. 8 May 2018

Somewhat chilling, this is well-penned and chock full of great imagery.

More Titanic happening over a century ago. My dad is buried in 200 feet water off of Sicily from the deck of the Carrier Intrepid CVN 11 now in New York Harbor. His name CPO Arthur F. Horn is on the wall. My mother's maiden name is Yates.
