Some Say

Some say the most honorable thing one can do, Is to lay down one's life, for a friend. That is only a blip on the timeline of eternity. I would say, the greater gift, is to give a friend's spirit, a much needed lift. To finally walk hand in hand, anywhere in this great land, surely will strike up a band. Then music the balm for loneliness, sorrow, and hopelessness, will be played all night, making the gift right as rain. Given to relieve the accumulated, and deepest pain.
