Q: Does the single act of being baptized save people without first being saved? A: Being baptized is a work of faith and public testimony of our Christian faith, but it is not salvation. By faith we are saved and not by works least any person boast. Q: Is being baptized a requirement to enter the kingdom of heaven? A: Those who are saved and baptized shall be saved. Yet the second thief on the cross had no time to become baptized and Jesus told him, "This day you will be with me in paradise." Q: What is water baptism? A: Our first public testimony of our newly found faith in Jesus Christ. Thereby also participating in the death, the burial and the resurrection from the dead of Jesus Christ. Because he rose from the dead on the third day, we shall also be raised from the dead. A: Yes water baptism in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost is of the uttermost important. For without the shed ding of blood there is no remission aka cancellation of our sins. Q: By what method did John the Baptist and the disciples of Jesus conduct water baptism in the Jordan River? A: By complete immersion in the Jordan River. Immersion is the only recogniz ed Biblical form of water baptism practiced and acceptable in the holy Bible. Q: Will not being baptized by immersion and being baptized by sprinkling water instead really disqualify born again believers from the kingdom of heaven? A: Not unless they are relying being baptized as: either infants or young children, or older youths or adults without actual salvation's' experience. Being bap tized all alone will not gain believers access into the kingdom of heaven. A: Any more than merely attending church services, volunteering in the church and/ or communities, neither tithes nor offerings. By grace are we saved not by our works least any man or woman should boast about them. Q: Are people filled with the Holy Ghost upon being born again? A: All born again believers are indwelt by the same Holy Spirit that raised Jesus Christ, Himself from the dead. Yet speaking in tongues is not required for our salvation's of our spirits.
