Solitude in the Shadows

In a world bustling with noise and drone,
Where many voices merge into a single tone,
There walks a solitary figure, unseen,
Lost in the shadows, an outsider's scene.

Amidst the crowd, she stands alone,
Her heart's rhythm beating on its own,
The bustling masses blur together,
But she remains detached, no bond to tether.

Like a star against the midnight sky,
She shines bright, catching every eye,
Yet her luminescence only highlights,
The emptiness within, the endless nights.

A solitary soul, seeking connection,
In a sea of faces lacking affection,
She longs for a touch, a gentle hand,
To pull her from this vast, desolate land.

But fate has dealt a solitary card,
Her heart's desires ever barred,
For in this crowded world, she's meant to be,
The epitome of solitariness, she sees.

And yet, in her solitude, there lies strength,
A resilience born from the trials at length,
She finds peace in her quiet contemplation,
Amidst chaotic waves, finding liberation.

For in the depths of her soul's abyss,
She discovers treasures she would never miss,
She learns to cherish her own company,
And embraces the beauty in her solitary decree.

Though she may be single in a crowded throng,
Her spirit soars high, forever strong,
For beneath her somber exterior's shroud,
She finds solace, embracing the silent cloud.

In the ebb and flow of life's changing tide,
In her solitude, she will savor the ride,
For even though she walks alone,
Her heart's melody echoes, becoming her own.

So let her wander in this world unknown,
A single flame in a sea of stone,
For in her solitude, she finds her grace,
A gentle reminder of life's endless chase.
