Snowflakes perfectly captured are treasures indeed. Poem showcases your talent and writing style. Magic. Best regards David in NZ. PS our grandson turns 3 on the 2nd Feb. He is quite tall, and could pass for 5 or even six year old. Regards David in NZ

Thank you very much Craig. I live in the tropics but I was born in Kansas and I’ve seen plenty of snow when I visit relatives now. First snow is the best. Blessings xxoo

Interesting form -- very visual! I still love snow, but at my age, there has to be a big window between me and it, and a tall bourbon. Very well said, Connie. Excellent writing! Joe.

I have to agree with you. My fingers freeze even with fur lined leather gloves and I look like Rudolf after being in the cold only a few minutes. Thank you Joe. You should try one of these. They are a bit of a challenge because of the brevity and syllable count. Blessings xxoo

Ah, remember the days when we all had time to watch snowflakes fall. Now, even with the pandemic, most are too busy watching their cellphone screens . . . . Enjoyed, Connie! Aloha!

Connie, I love the lines "Shines like crystals on trees" and "Susurrus sounds sing out". I read this several times and enjoyed it more each time. It's been a long time since I've been able to enjoy snow, but the memories of it are always pleasant. Thank you for starting my day with a smile. Hugs ~ John

You make the snow sound like a heaven's gift, and sometimes it is when we don't have to shovel it, nicely penned, creatively shared, gl with the contest dear friend :)

In my eyes snow is heaven’s gift because when it melts it gives us pure water to drink coming down from the mountains. I know it is no fun to be out in the cold shoveling snow while are trying to escape being snowbound when there is a fierce snowstorm. Still the beauty of the season enchants. Thank you for your lovely comment Vie. Blessings xxoo

Thank you Vijay. This form is challenging not only because of the brevity but because each line needs to begin with the same letter in in this have case six syllables. I look forward to reading other entries. Hugs Connie
