Simply Amazed
Gently the sun calls out your name
glowing within the morning breeze
"come love to my shore where worries wait
and tidal surge reflects with a refreshing ease"
Sands slip in between the now and the then
the peace, the trust, the tranquility
holding on to secrets close to the heart
freeing with her all the impossibility
feelings felt along with the rush of the wind
fingers touch as hopeful eyes ever gaze
off into an endless sky of capability
little by little I'm still simply amazed
