Silent Tears

Silent tears are what I cry something I learned as a child turning from all those who can see keeping my feelings deep within Silent tears are seldom heard muffled whimpers sometime escape my body trembling from the ache within silencing emotions is almost an impossibility Silent tears come from the heart mourning for what has been lost from the pain that's been inflicted upon me they're felt through the corridors of my very soul Silent tears fall freely seemingly unending at times releasing the anxieties which life has to offer cleansing my innermost being, waking to a brighter day

A great one Anna, it's a sad one but yes you have merged all your episodes and made an wonderful piece...Sometimes letting out emotions too works. Very well written!:) Have a great day!

well done Anna on an inspiring piece full of good imagery and expression. Though it's very sad sometimes these experiences bring out real good poetry in us. I have found this out that writing on my stammer is very therapeutic to my inward self. Take care, Gordon

A very poignant poem Anna. Keeping the stress in can only exacerbate the sorrow inside - I guess crying inside is a form of communication like crying openly but just not necessarily shared with others. I sense real sadness in your words. It's been very well written. Cheers - Gary

This was written many years ago. It Was a way of coping for me, at that time. But you're quite right, it was a very sad time in my life.. chapters now closed. Have a most blessed day.
