Silent Reveries
My youth was full of tragedy and fault,
for when I should have grown, I fought the fight-
I knew not what I’d face as an adult,
but I hoped one day I may find my sight.
Now I wade inside silent reveries;
dream with healing hope too deep to arrest-
embrace my aura in the Autumn breeze,
and I pray to the Lord, “I’ve been so blessed…".
I never would have known I’d find such peace,
nor would I guess love is my universe-
all the anger and fear I did release,
and all my forgiveness I did disperse.
My youth was nothing but aching unease-
now I wade inside silent reveries.
