I hear you're learning to drive... Straight Ahead, make No U-Turn! Beware each Speed Bump Ahead. Naught can Tow Away your dreams. Do not lose focus - Stay Right. Do not fear any Sharp Curve. Do not Yield to impatience (Do Not Enter that sad scene). There's One Way - let wisdom guide, Stop when your vision gets blurred. Keep Clear of every Dead End, Proceed With Caution, boldly!

A very clever sharp poem - love it and the intertwining of road signs with our path in life towards faith and God. Great poem John, Jennifer.

Love this, John! Great lessons for driving and for life. I wish I had this to read when I was a teenager. I was a terrible driver. My head was usually in the clouds and not on the road. My step-dad actually took the radio out of my car so I wouldn't get distracted. My car got a few bumps, but thank God I didn't. Keeping this clever write in my faves...blessings, Rhonda xx

Yes, there's so much I wish the teen me could have learned from the adult me, but that isn't how life works, is it? At least we both survived our youth and can try to pour our accumulated wisdom into our young people (as much as they will allow, anyway!) Thanks for the read and the fave, my friend!

I do to. Wouldn't it be nice if there were Stop signs in front of potentially bad decisions! Thanks for your read today my friend, always nice to hear from you.

This makes me think of that song from the late sixties or seventies maybe 'Signs, signs, everywhere signs' - very clever way to incorporate them, especially 'There's One Way - let wisdom guide' (but got a grin from Do Not Enter that sad scene!) Looks like an open road for this!

Very creative John, I remember when I was learning to drive my head was in a copy of the highway code and when I shut my eyes at night all I could see were those road signs lol Enjoy your weekend. Tom
