Should I Take a Chance

there would be too much anguish in just one touch- for in loving him, my heart would ache… a slight chance to take he would brisk my arm and i would sigh- gaze into my eyes as if i was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen (prancing in fields of emerald green) i left bereft that day in early may- ceased my yearning to be near an honorable man -the ONLY man for me- but there would be too much anguish in just one touch… adoration reveals tribulation- my soul forsaken in a chance taken ________________________ February 9, 2020

Lu Loo, Yes.., 'anguish in just one touch'. When you've got it, you've got it. Hopefully not forsaken, proved a soul's worth yet again in this write. -Richard
