The brightest star up in the sky,
your blazing entry caught my eye.
You gave your all to be so bright,
to streak across the sky tonight.
Your light is bright from head to tail,
and you can grant wishes as well.
You must wonder as you fly by,
if I’m the answer to your why.
Drawn here tonight I guess for you,
to share this moment just us two.
Both of us had a need to know,
Now on our way we both must go.
Another day we’ll meet again,
I think our souls must be akin.
