Shine

My heart is stirred as reflections dance in my head, as I lie awake and meditate on your wondrous works, I drift off to innocent dreams upon my bed. My spirit is filled with joy as you quiet my soul, as high as the stars that are in the heavens my love for you continues to grow. You lead me beside the still waters of life's turbulent trials, you guide me on eagles wings in the face of daunting miles. As my journey continues I find myself basking in your sunlight for what seems like an eternity, you have carried me through all the valleys of my life and changing of the seasons. I have danced to your music as my heartstrings were being played, sweet melodies washing over my soul likened to the oceans waves of plenty. I have mourned the loss of the lost as I cried aloud, the sting of death has no hold on me, the grave is but an empty tomb. Let the flowers bloom and bring forth life, the time has come to shine as bright as the sun, no longer a fading star in the early glow of the dawn.
