Sharin' Ain'T Carin'
Oh, how I long to be with you.
Your absence annoys my preferred position.
To greet your face and morning's sunlight would
be the perfect composition
Of a love song I could listen to daily
Without any interruption, unless of course,
It is you.
You knock on my door when convenience finds your concern.
You both ring my bell and cross to and fro about my threshold.
A decision should be served at my table,
Along with loyal dishes of commitment and honesty.
I realize I've set a table for two, yet three are seated.
You consume solely, enjoying every bite.
She and I share a plate.
