Should sunshine and happiness fail to find you when choked are the flowers among us let us remember to look to the light which left shadows behind to remind us Shadow reminders of others before who’s face had felt the sun because happiness felt full and sweet is how the race is won Shadows of the flowers can’t be seen without the light Let us raise our weary heads and look beyond the night It’s there we see what we can be in mornings filled with glory which light our days to inspire the ways we tell our righteous story ~Jeannie A March 2022

Superb. I especially liked the first stanza; such well crafted opening lines that would make a 5 star poem all on its own. Cheers - Gary

Hey S1 WOW! So good to hear from you. My thoughts were all over the place with this one, guess I might have waited too long to pick up my pen again. Thanks for the note
