Shadows

Shadows The many times I sought to change the vision of a better time the impetus of angry themes impedes my search to find a clime of sunlit paths to ply my dreams the shadows lurk with discontent to render me the hapless one but shadows are invisible unless they’re greeted by the sun the shadows follow you in turn to bear the tribulations woe the sun will also follow you to make the choice where you will go Ralph Sergi© June 16, 2019

Hi Arturo: I thought the word would make a good metaphor for sadness or depression
