Not a personal write. It was inspired by a friend who battles depression.

I will not go quietly I will not wallow in self pity I want to stand up I want to stand out I don’t want to spiral into That web of darkness I want to get up and smile again In spite of the negativity that's drawing me in I want to hear a child's laughter And smile knowing that I will get there too I will once again smile As if it is my very breath I will fight this I will not drown In this sea of depression

What a very empowering poem you've penned here, Missy...depression can be such a struggle, but yes, if one can find that strength within, one can hone that and rise above. Yet another inspiring poem from you, Missy Busy :)!

Yes, we all have to swim in it from time to time. that seems the case for me anyway, but I love the positive message at the end. you always come through with your positivity.
