Screams
A.W. Nutter
“Scream little one, let him hear your screams”
“Filling his desires as he haunts your dreams”
Demon of pain plaguing the soul
As fear takes away your breath
Devouring your innocence whole
Making you pray for a quick death
Hands of the wicked hold you tight
Destroying your thoughts of escape
Satanic perversions, a childhood blight
Securing your future to a lifetime of hate
“Scream little one, let him hear your screams”
“Filling his desires as he haunts your dreams”
Swallowing emotions, destroying pleasure
The youthful spirit lays bloody and broken
No longer seen as a captivating treasure
Sinful transgressions remaining unspoken
The physical demon returns to his realm
Leaving devastation, with his passing
Every night you become overwhelmed
As your sanity, slowly begins decaying
“Demons from the past living inside”
“From life’s experiences you can never hide”
