Sankofa

SANKOFA I am a daughter of the past. All sixty-five inches run deep balancing the rising line of English arches I am a rainbow touching souls Family who has gone before I touch their names and marvel They, too, were of dust and grew. I fly in the world on wings of love landing as butterfly on Lilac leaving soft aroma for descendants. @2011 -Evelyn Pearl (Carpenter) Anderson
