Saints and Sinners
Oh to see as the Almighty does see, with eyes that pierce even the leaded walls of the hardest heart.
And oh to know each intent as the Creator does know, the real reason for actions and voices, smiles and frowns, stops and starts.
To discern that those "humble words" are in truth birthed from rebellious pride and that "cynical phrase" comes from the most righteous place.
Knowing a
luring smile fronts a vile cause or that genuine compassion shadows that weary face.
Without that knowing, life is a trap set to persuade us that the "I's" have it in every way
but to discern between the saints and sinners is not for me to say, for that right, looking past the obvious, into the truth ,that costly bounty I did not pay.
