I was recently hit by a car as I was crossing the road on foot. I just heard a "whump" and there was a floating feeling and then I was rolling on the road. When the paramedics got there they asked me where I hurt the most. I said to tell the truth right now I don't feel anything. He said I was in shock but I would feel it later. I have a lot of soft tissue damage but no broken bones or internal bleeding or head trauma. AND I'M ALIVE AND WALKING. I've been telling everyone who will listen that it's BECAUSE JESUS WAS WITH ME.

Thank You Lord.

My neighbor don't believe in God, Says the Bible is untrue, But Jesus said, "As Ye believe, So be it unto you." So those who don't believe in Him, Are in this world alone. They must face things by themselves, Because they're on their own. It gives me comfort just to know, That Jesus has my back. When I'm at my lowest, He'll take up the slack. God did not say to follow Him, And live life trouble free. In fact He said that problems, Follow them that follow Me; But when you find it hardest, Your duties to perform, Because seems waves of troubles, Engulf you like a storm, He'll wrap His arms around you, His strength to you He'll give. Just keep your faith in Him, You'll come through this and live. All Christians are not wealthy, But we have what we need. God takes care of all His Own, We are all agreed. Life ain't always easy, Life ain't always fun, But it's always an experience, It's the race that we must run. Remember: People are not perfect --- God is. People make mistakes --- God doesn't. But because He is perfect He forgives those who ask to be forgiven. Remember: God's Got ALL THE DOUGHNUTS.

That needed the jaws of life to get me out ... just a bump on my head. God wasn't through with me yet. He watcheth over His own. Bless you and your fine poetry,my friend. Smiles ~ Blessings Bill

WoW! Judy, First of all I must say, Look at God. The fact that you got hit by car and no broken bones, no concussions and lived to tell your testimony, was a miracle. I believe God was with you.I believe in God. He’s made himself real to me in so many ways. Your poem is well written and filled with faith and wisdom. Excellent job:-) Alexis

Thank you so much Alexis. I too believe because He has shown me He is there, loves me and is all powerful so many times throughout my life in many ways. All we have to do is ask. He said, "Seek and ye shall find, Knock and the door shall be opened to you." Matthew 7:7 - 8 God Bless, JB

Solemn words of faith, Judy. I remember from your previous poem--you mentioned the accident in the parking lot. I am so glad your injuries were minor. Your faith resonates through your poems my friend. You heal yourself and you heal the reader.
