Run

Multiple Meaning Word Twist Poem Run Don’t run away because I’ll give you a run for your money. You act like you’re on the run from the law. How can you pretend to love me when all you do is RUN. I feel like I’m in a race, run, run, run trying to catch you as you move to act in your next Broadway run. You left the engine running outside your other friend’s apartment. You know the one. She runs that business you have to visit every single day. How do you know I'm a runner for you when I could be racing to run for another. Like your dog who runs about chasing after you.

Hello, Robyn, well done for a free verse poem. I like the double run meaning. Makes me want to sing, "Should I stay, or should I go now." :) How about this one, I've got to run, because I got the runs. LOL.. That is a joke. I can run my mouth all day, yet never run dry. Wait that's the same meaning. Awesome Poem... Love SKAT

Thank you, WS. I love doing this type of poetry. And run can be used in so many ways.
