I love roses
Beautiful, layered perfect blooms,
So delicate and so fragrant,
Their heady scent can fill a room,
And make one feel complacent.
They compliment most any set,
Whatever the occasion.
When given as a gift they get,
A standing ovation.
They come in many colors,
From pale pint to vivid hues,
A picture like no other,
When kissed by morning's dew.
No other flower can compare,
To the beauty of the rose;
Adding grace no matter where,
This queen of flowers grows.
