Roots To Fruits

A little sunlight, a little rain A bit of hope cuts through the pain and Though the seasons swiftly pass Deep down we know they will not last So we bend with the wind And we pray we don't break. We don't know how we grow So we give just as we take... So, once we were just a tiny seed Unrecognizable indeed and Though our growth is unobserved We know our lives must be preserved So we bend with the wind And we pray we don't break We don't know how we grow So we give just as we take Another year means another ring Survive the Winter, enjoy the Spring and Through the Summer and Autumn's call When, once again our lives will stall So we bend with the wind And we pray we don't break We don't know how we grow So we give just as we take We dig deep We stretch high From Earth to the stars From our roots To our fruits This is who we are
