Rebirth
Humanity has dropped
another grain of sand
upon this earthly sphere.
A grain of sand,
which, pushed along must grow,
and falter in its wayward track
that we may know
there is no turning back.
youth will survive
and grasp the truths
we longed to hear.
then listen in their turn
the cry of youth to hear
