Reading Through the Eyes

Then I thought: Its eyes pierced me Reading through my thoughts; I tried hard, but Its intentions I could not see. I felt bare My emotions left at its mercy; I felt vulnerable; trespassed. This was rare. I turned my gaze Pretending to walk away; I cluttered my thoughts It was still reading through the maze. Now I know: Thousands see it and say They understand it; Through their eyes, it reads A thousand men, everyday;
