Puppet Strings

Am I really my own person? Or does someone else manipulate my mood? Should I be allowed to control my own feelings? Or shall I simply become a puppet With emotional strings that you seem to mess with?

The Lord said when must master our own emotions. He knows that this will bring us happiness. He also knows this is one of the hardest things for a human being to do but we are the only ones that can control ourselves. I am enjoying your poems. I'm so grateful for poetry it is so therapeutic.
