Prostate Cancer Side Effects

After fifty years plus my old friend could take years till he gets on the mend, when he's testerone free he'll be harder to see, but, also much easier to bend. As the side effects continue to evolve there is a problem I still have to solve, for when i'm all alone in the libido-free zone I find it difficult to stiffen my resolve.

Well, it is sad that a person is told that they have prostate cancer and even harder when surgery is done but it is good that you or whomever this is about is a survivor..Enjoyed reading your work..Welcome to soup..Sara..My father was diagnosed with prostate cancer at 85, did not have his prostate removed and lived to be 96, 11 months, and two weeks ..Almost 97..Did not die from prostate cancer's consequences but heart failure..Sara

Protate Cancer is a slow growing cancer, However, 1 months my husband and I were to be married his psa went up to 21. He had already had surgery, radiation and was to be started on Chemo as a pallative measure. The Doctor told him he had 3 years to live. We decided tht woul not be our reality after finding our soulmate We were married 16 years before he died from Alzheimers.

I had to write a whole year's worth of cancer poems when I was undergoing treatment for colon cancer. It became my first book published. Keep writing about the cancer and you feel better along the way.

I simply had to read limericks on prostate cancer - they hit home hard lol . I wrote my first poem splendid isolation when my hubby had undergone surgery for prostate cancer in Nov 2013 - without the cancer i never would have even picked up a pen - he is cured and I have a wonderful hobby.:-) Hugs Jan xx 7 xx
