Pollen In the Air
Whats that you said?
Words drift
Glimpse a bird down the hill
closer to the river
orange breasted, must be an Oriole
Gone now
Other birds, some quite strange
fill the tree
Fresh water
Mist rises from the river
and trumpets, once wild daisies
Proclaim rebirth
This bird, right near me
I have never seen
I
smile
