Please Just Breathe
Insults and incitements that, not so many may utter,
kills her confidence for life to taste bitter.
Every mouth is busy, right in front of her, they still murmur,
the damaging effect has gone beyond that of a mere rumour.
A betrayer is confronted but only rubbishes with a sigh,
she is ready for a head on, temper is so high.
A plaintiff, a judge and a jury, she exhibits in one gasp,
the soul shouts ‘attack!’ as the accuser is trapped in her grasp.
Good counsel is gone, conscience may only whisper.
yet, a well-mannered and cultured lady knows this is improper.
To cancel such intense energy, just breathe,
she counts one to ten, reaching calm, her sword, no need to seethe.
