Pisonia

Up the splinter tree love lodges in the cold winter A blizzard charades a feeble allegiance Remotely an owl’s grasp, peaked a branch Its fixed eyes study the delicate nest In the storm, upright wings of chromatic plumage Wantons, in the season, playing for a companion Fleetly, amours intensity meets the eyes of entanglement Glaring with barb wire eyes Slowly she wraps me piercing my skin Now off the branch the owl presides the air Spotting the knotting on the fringes of my wings And pain she appears deluded too Over the masculine parade A dollybird with calculated and reserved emotions Negated any consequential summations Yet reflects a twinning intensity As if looking down in a still pond Mirroring each other to outwit checkmate emotions play at a distance of a cupid unit away Remained de facto evaded in mastery of Judo A battle akin to a swooping and chaotic wind Similar non-presents casts love sunsets Our wind, a ballet a dance a sort sol Through the darkness as if blind fold Poetic justice guided and lead Perched near glowing eyes of the owl pierced the night and apprehended her Affirming her allegiance was still there We traced and tailed this internal tickle Provoked by an ostrich feather
