One Thousand Goodbyes Years ago a stranger became a friend with little time left she let me into her reflections her child and husband dead tragedy would strike again her time on earth would expire soon her empty heart to be filled in the heavens she showed and told her last wishes to me a thousand poems she wanted to leave behind I think she made it I never found out angels stole her On this somber Sunday another one left this earth some might even say St Patrick I can make only a simple claim a thousand poems I have written to honor those with more charity than I Hazza who will remember us all? when we too one day shall die

Hi Arthur, So beautifully penned, immensely enjoyable, but sad. But who is to say if you or I will be remembered or forgotten or ever thought about after we are gone - surely it depends on the legacy we leave behind? Your poems are aflame Arthur, they will never wither and die! Live long, and write, let your poetic soul be heard! Poetry wishes, Jennifer.

No longer strangers those who earned their places in the heart, mind and soul.. Ever remembered for their worth, wealth and beauty.. Indeed, they are honoured by our love and veneration into immortal words.. I have faith that those who give and have enough room for Love and Humanity will receive grace and love from God and people.. a great poem that both beautifully and achingly touches the depths of the heart.. a fav read.. worthy of the honour of your avid readers. God bless you Arthur.
