Oh the Humanity

I find no solace in silence Or victory using violence Raise up your voice and be heard Succumbing and becoming a mouse is absurd Can't be part of the herd, walk alone if I must But I gotta believe in humanity I can trust Stand alert and observe, life is a learning curve Try to get a passing grade, and truly deserve The title of human, a being with a mind Raise a flag against injustice, hatred isn't fine Intolerence is a joke, let bigotry go up in smoke Embrace the soul of each other, and try to invoke A new and much brighter day, think before you say Cause I know for a fact, wicked words..they can slay
