October Wind
October wind blows warm today
Carrying these dark thoughts away
How strong it feels across my face
As if from some other time and place
As summer sun invades the fall
I answer to its beckon call
Basking in its final glow
Before I hear the fall of snow
While birds in song fill the air
As they serenade a final fair
I am content to listen and dream
Of the Everlasting Day of a Living Stream
October wind blows warm today
And carries my spirit
